Make sure the song is a Drake song and not a Drake featureNone of this will matter lmao. Social media/critics don't review music based on the actual music. They review music based on how well-liked you are publicly.
Most of the criticisms about the album aren't even about the actual music. They hate that he's still rapping/singing about the s*** he's always sang about. That's what they consider immature and they feel he needs to stop doing. That's also something they'd never ask of another artist. That's why their criticisms are so disingenuous.
Plus, social media Drake hate has never left since 2016 so most people never go into a Drake project with good faith or an open mind. They go in looking for something they'll hear and won't like and the moment they do, they run with the take that the whole project is trash.

- Virginia Beach, nice sample, good flip. I like this song, don't think I like it as the intro tho.
- Amen, actually really f*** with this song a lot. Teezo is great, imma Teezo fan. Drake catches a real nice groove on this one.
- Calling on You... boy this is a snoozer. just real bad, and the first of many unnecessary beat switches on this album
- tracks 4-5, 7-8 really could've been taken off. Adds nothing to the project
- 7969 Santa... keep Teezo part. good on everything else.
- IDGAF... what's the long intro that has little to nothing to do with the song itself?? don't like that at all.
- First Person Shooter... it's cool. it's stadium music, I get what they were going for. I think it works for that but im not crazy bout the song fr.

Overall? yea a break will be good for bro. make the people miss you. 4 albums in 2 years is crazy. I appreciate 2020s Drake. Honestly Nevermind was a great project. CLB was a grower for me. Her Loss is a solid album and had a lot of keepers. FATD will probably have some growers too but it's clear he kinda just throwing s*** at the wall hoping something sticks. This project lacks intention and direction. You could tell he wanted to go somewhere with it but it kind of just falls apart. we have these little radio show type skits at the end of like 3 songs? but where does it go? nowhere. It would've been nice to have that theme really part of the project but it's not. it's like he had these ideas but just didn't capitalize off of them.. he just needs to take his take time fr. work on some s*** for a good year or so. have it all finished. videos and everything long before a release date is announced. it's time to get back to a regular rollout. no more rushing
Taking off Fear of Heights, Daylight, and IDGAF is crazy lmao. Those gonna be some of biggest songs on album.

Rich Baby Daddy is the greatest gainer on streaming off the album. If it continues at this rate, I could see it going to #1 the week after the album drops (expect something off Bad Bunny's album does better).
