There was a girl a long time ago that we started as friends but grew feelings but I was 16 and stupid and kinda ditched her for some other girl and we both got into diff relationships but the our story ended with me smashing her best friend and everything falling apart

But there was one night when we were like 19, we had just started being friends again and she was in this relationship at that time for a year with some bozo, shes still with him, this girl is like rihanna to me for drake

Anyways, that night we took a long night drive to the beach, she had her hand on my shoulder and was crying to me about her relationship cause she wasnt sure about being with him and she even told me lowkey she always had feelings for me, we hugged after and it was one of those i feel you but we both know this cant work ever, polar opposites

We walked on the beach and got close and sat and looked at the moon over the ocean and talked about life and where we would go

That song brings me right back to that moment, you ever wanna go back with future knowledge and change things? I would have made that girl break up with her man, spoke up or some s*** but I didnt and now its just a memory and now its painted perfectly in a song from someone elses mind

Honestly if you cut down CLB to the best 12 - 13 tracks, you'd get a 9/10 album

All are at least good, some are really great tracks IMO

And I already think HNVM is one of his strongest albums and really overhated

So he's still capable of delivering a good project, he just BADLY, BADLY needs an editor. Someone who will with no restraint and bullshit tell him - cut down these garbage tracks, this sound doesn't suit you, etc. And help him sequence and pick out the top 13, 14 tracks.
