his "fans" should want the best possible thing he can make at that given time. there's no way you drop that 8 am song and still say that the other s*** on the album was him giving his all.

Tbh I love the album but his catering f***s it up to an extent, gently, daylight, IDGNF s*** like that does not need to be on there at all this album could have been 15/16 songs and it would get acclaim, sadly its hard when critics have to sit through daylight and IDGNF before getting to a tried our best

he's phoning it in with garbage melodies and not compelling lyrics. that j Cole song is all you need to hear. look at the lyrics on a blank screen and it's a song written by logic.

Facts I feel like the albums become a mess when he's tryna appeal to all his sounds.

I love IYRTITL, Honestly Nevermind, Take Care, NWTS because they all had a consistent theme sound wise. ESPECIALLY IYRTITL

Stuff like More Life, Views, CLB and Her Loss (whilst great) very much sound like compilation tapes
