Only thing I'll ask of Drake after this album is that he really does take a break from music. Starve the game. Don't drop any music for at least a year, preferably two years. Let them see what the landscape looks like without you in it.
He can give his creative energy to other more fulfilling things. He's done more than enough for the game anyways.
100% agree with this. It's not even a oversaturation issue. He's done so much that mfs are becoming ungrateful no matter what he does lol.

Yup I’m in there
Woulda enjoyed this more if he just admitted he wanted to make a fun album and explore somenew styles . Instead he went on a 4 month rollout full of straight lies saying he was going back to old drake smh.
This 100%
I always felt like Drake would morph his guests into a way that they fit his style, we’ve seen it on More Life and all his other projects meanwhile here it’s Drake dropping a verse on the guest’s signature sound instead. On songs like IDGAF I really feel like he added nothing to a Yeat song
Yeah, I enjoy the project but that's my only real issue if I had to name it. To me it works really well when it's more blended and complementary, such as with Amen, SYO, and Members Only imo.
What songs on here do you find being the big 3?
I can't pick. This might be the first album Drake clearly didn't go into prioritizing a obvious frontrunner for what the lead single should be and he proved that by not keeping Search & Rescue on the album despite the song being produced by BYNX, who produces like 8 songs on here and the song being a legitimate hit. He also doubled down on that by dropping Slime On You as an appetizer and then following that up with 8AM in Charlotte.
The album is like a greatest hits of album cuts.
In order to truly appreciate the album, you've gotta think of it more as an R&B album and less as a rap album. It's clear Drake set out to make an R&B album but once he went on tour, felt like he needed to rap as well so as not to totally alienate that part of his fanbase.
I get why Yachty didn't understand how it'd all fit together because this collection of songs aren't supposed to work but they do, somehow. This is also the most vulnerable Drake has ever been on an album. He's hurt on almost all the songs on here and he's not embarrassed to admit it, even going as far as saying s*** he knows will make people paint him out as a bad person.
It's sad everyone is focused on the wrong things. I could write an entire thesis on what I believe Drake's emotional state was when making this album.

Yeah, I really just want him to starve the game and I need him to recharge because he needs to.
I can't even add tracks from this into my playlist because if I play one song, I'll want to just hear everything again altogether.
That's one thing for certain when it comes to Drake projects for me.
Bro I just got home. I can’t believe 21 Savage made it
Amazing, hope you had the best time
I really wish he woulda used the Who The Goat? part as a hook on FPS and scrapped the beat switch
Fire regardless tho

I agree only if he can leave Instagram stories behind as well

I feel like the beat switch makes the song fire
