Ma ma ma ma man
Ma ma ma ma man
this album has many of drakes best vocal performances ever he's never sounded as confident as he does on fps, fear of heights, 8am, daylight, bahamas promises, tried our best etc.
super comfortable and experimental on the mic like with the adlibs for example, or the way his vocals cut through in the mix
What he saying?
He saying he likes the album but thinks itās far from Drakeās best, says it feels lowkey meaningless and redundant, that itās too long.
Thought the features were unnecessary and that he prefers the days when Drake albums had minimal features.
He also said heās surprised that Drake responded in the way that he did to Budden, and said he hopes that Drake doesnāt feel like heās completely above criticism anymore
Great album. I enjoyed
drakes seems over it tbh
I can just tell this man been uncomfortable mentally

Damn... its over
Damn... its over
Itās over?
Ak was the main nigga spreading the OVO writing camp thing
Heāll never make that āold drake ā again though
For us to believe this that āold drakeā years would have to pass
Only people who say they want old drake back or they āmiss the old drakeā
Cuz it was a dif time in there life
I mean I was in 9th grade I think when tc dropped and I had it on my iPod and was tryna smash girls in high school n s*** and was in constant drama etc
He def has some newer flows and it may appear to be geared to a newer younger crowd
But what these other little kids have to listen to honestly?
What other good music is out for these little guys?
They grew up hearing āu gotta hear that take care NWTS ifytitl drakeā
They didnāt grow up on drake getting huge.
I canāt explain it in words or context
All people had to do was go in with 0 expectations
But since drake is the ābiggest outā
Theyāll compare it to everything else from 10 years ago
Same s*** with Eminem.
Everyone says Eminem fell off but he can rap still pretty damn good in his 40ās
Everyoneās old now man and these people will hate no matter how the album sounds like
This is bullshit lmao we liked Her Loss and thatās not old Drake. When the music is good, then itāll get praised no matter what. This album isnāt HORRIBLE but itās just the same formula over and over again. He gave us a weaker version of CLB somehow. Thereās barely any Drake highs on this album
That album after drake is free from his alcohol, gambling, s***and social media addictions is going to be so š„š„š„š„ in 5 years
After 1 day Im ready to say this might be top 3 of him. This is what mfer has been wanting to do since Views (making huge tracklists trying to please every kind of fan he has while mantaining his essence and doing different genres) but failed due to boring production, unnecesary feats, stale delivery. I feel like he solved this here and although he has some unnecesary songs, everything here fits perfectly and is polished greatly. Feels like WLR, when everybody gave s*** to Carti even his fans, two or three months later they realized the record was pretty good.
I agree
Itās over?
Ak was the main nigga spreading the OVO writing camp thing
That was jokes lmao, Ak is a Drake superfan
He might be Drakeās biggest supporter as far as people with big online followings go
Itās over?

Whenever he says something negative about Drake he becomes āthe biggest Drake fanā which is funny because from 15-17 he was saying alot of negative s*** about him especially that OVO Sweatshop Narrative

Sorry brother, but he was saying that s*** for too long
He was definitely a closeted fan when he was saying that, but s*** was getting annoying
I donāt know, I feel like ever since the pandemic Drake has changed though
CLB was definitely the start of Villain Drake
I feel like he set everybody up for high expectations by coming with that old drake s***. Trying to tackle old sounds/lyrics is counterproductive as an artist, Kanye will never make a MBDTF2, Travis will never make Rodeo2 and thats alright and the beauty of it
CLB was definitely the start of Villain Drake
I really wanted to hear what CLB originally sounded like
CLB was definitely the start of Villain Drake
you could make the argument scorpion was though

This!
