KeepTheRobinsonI rly don’t understand why he felt he had to rush this album while hes touring in the first place lol
I wish he was at least giving touring ( backing vocals) or the album his all when in reality it seems both got slighted
Oct 7, 2023etuevI honestly think he overhauled the album last minute for whatever reason which explains the hasty rap songs that feel a bit underbaked, mainly in the first half. With FPS which is really good but was recorded literally 3 days ago. IDGAF which was originally a Yeat song and Drake just added himself in. Daylight feels quite underdeveloped and rough but I love the song anyway. Fear of Heights especially sounds like a drunk recording session that he added in due to being pissed off by Rihanna very recently. Just my theory though. The R and B songs sound the most developed and tend to be people's favourites on the album.
Something doesn't add up. But he's stupid for compromising his vision unlike say HN and HL which have a more focussed vision.
Yeah, same as Views, the rap songs on this album feel very tacked on and unnecessary. I fully believe this started off as an R&B album
