I knew he would. He leans into the criticism instead of running away from it. It’s almost like he’s accepting he’ll never be the good guy in the public light so it’s whatever to him. It’s probably easier to control the narrative that way than trying to fight it.

Agreed that lyrically this is probably his worst. Lotta simile bars that are mid, way too much repetition.

Bummer because he dabbled in different sounding production which was much needed and he seemed more into the songs.

Cut 4-5 tracks and if he comes with his average pen game and this would’ve been such a solid entry.

Still like a lot of it but definitely not great.

Hopefully the break is real and he takes at least a couple years of just not making ANY music. A break, some therapy, and self reflection is all he needs.

I’m 29, gonna be 30 in February. I feel old as f*** when listening to some of these songs. I feel like some of the songs are designed for a younger audience. Some of these flows and bars feels like what these younger/newer artists sound like. Maybe this is what’s needed to keep relevant for so long.

Drake will always be my GOAT. I hope he genuinely takes a break and refreshes. Will be epic when he comes back.

It's his laziest and close to worst of his discog. Lyrically it's absolutely at the bottom. Production is obnoxious and not a single standout track on this which is a first for Drake.
