I did like 5 listens yesterday cause i had a long drive out of town and this s*** in unbelievably classic
Bro drove from meccha to jerusalem
I can't picture you with him
That's just so embarrassin'
I want to diе, to dieeeeeeeeeeeeee

Just because I been on a run doesn't mean I don't know how to walk away
I'll let you get your bars off over text but don't forget you're talking to Drake
Personality
Morality
Immeasurable salary
100 dollar bills that I'm counting like a calorie
Shells for the peanut gallery
Probably better off with Mallory or Valerie
You tearing up and sniffling while reacting like some allergies
Saying what I mean isn't mean if you're really listening - it's reality — Drake
This is major cringe and hes acting really insecure
Long read, but this is the first Drake album ever where I'm not rushing back to listen to any of the songs outside of Honestly Nevermind but I got that that was dance album and wasn't my cup of tea and a certain crowd will enjoy that.
Let me just preface this by saying I've been a diehard stan since Room For Improvement
I feel like his albums in the past had such special moments to where you couldn't resist going back and playing a Cameras, a Do Not Disturb, a Jungle, a From Time and so on and so forth. To me, this album has no songs that leave me saying "wow" like those might have made me feel off multiple listens other than 8am and maybe Amen
And I'm not resonating with ANY of the rap at all besides 8am. I'm fully over the Her Loss melodic trap Yachty sound where the beats sound like BackOutsideBoyz or the other trap s*** that sounds like Broke Boyz variants, like the last part of First Person Shooter that I feel like I've heard from him plenty of times since Her Loss.
The only R&B songs I like are Amen, Bahamas Promise, and Tried Our Best. Those 3 songs including 8am are incredible but everything else feels like a tough listen or just straight up unlistenable to me
It's depressing because Drake is my favorite artist and rapper ever and this just isn't resonating with me at all man. The songs aren't doing anything for me. Maybe my personal taste is changing. I don't know. I feel really disconnected from his music for the first time 💔
yeah I agree

Many of us are realising this, powerful

This is how I’ve felt since like DLDT. But I like HNVM & this new album kinda in a way
Theres only been a select few songs on each of his last few rap albums I’ve felt going back to
Drizzy 2020s ranking for now
Honestly Nevermind
For All The Dogs
Certified Loverboy
Her Loss
Dark Lane Demo Tapes
DLDT not being at the top is CRAZY. Honestly his 2020s output I've enjoyed. I didn't really love his run from Views - Scorpion, prefer the 20s
Lean in. leanin’ soda. Fanta. fantasizin’ that’s not. Love you’re in it’s more like. Compromising I move… Mountains for you.

real for DLDT, it's such a fantastic project and doubly agreed on his 20s output. Quality wise these projects have been better than Views - Scorpion

U really love that gif don't u
time travelling back to 2019 and telling people there will be a drake song rapping about millie bobby brown and billie eilish titties >>

DLDT overrated, easily his worst of the decade

War goes crazy. Too many good songs on DLDT. I love the experimental, chill and loose vibe. Winter vibes for sure
People refuse to believe that Drake is ten times the better artist now than he was in Take Care era

Been saying

I respectfully disagree, but I can see why it wouldn't appeal to someone. For me its the project I felt had a very nice and new tone for Drake while also incorporating elements of his older tracks
