Yeah I'm a little skeptical, saw a few screenshots floating around from supposedly reliable people saying if he didn't drop June 23 then it'd be mid-July?
But those posts were from before he delayed the tour start, so who knows.

This is all you need to know the album is dropping this Friday. No one is going to be scanning the dogs daily for almost a month, especially when it says the album is coming soon.
He also moved the first 2 dates on his tour back so now his tour starts on the 5th of July, giving people almost a week to have taken the new album in before he starts performing it.

I can't help but get hyped when I know a new drake project is on the cusp of dropping. Its the nostalgia of discovering So Far Gone and listening to it for the first time and then discovering the OG OVO blogs with all the BTS/hints of the project. Its the nostalgia of waiting for November 15th for Take Care to drop while avoiding leaks. Its the out of blue drop of IYRTITL when some hints dropped and then realising Drake wore the album art on a hoody during a Raptors game. It was the first time listening to WATTBA and More Life on OVO sound radio with what seemed like the rest of the world at the same time cherishing timeless moments.
But then it turned to alot of hype with, not disappointment, but just anticlimatic feelings with every Drake release. To get so excited to only be disappointed with what always seems the be more of the same recycled Drake with a newly invented persona you'd think he was tryna be the Weeknd, interspersed with some highlights but overall no long lasting replay value (in my opinion).
Alas, here we again, a new album on the cusp of being broadcast to the world and I find myself falling for the same hype and building up the loftiest of lofty expectations that you would think this was track 8 of House of Balloons.
