It’s kinda funny for how influential the rage aspects of WLR were despite there being just as many softer songs on the album
Like I feel like a lot of people think back to WLR when they haven’t listened in a while and remember it as strictly the hard stuff when thats really not rhe case
i clown on artists for 5 year breaks especially when the album drops and it's hot mid
but i think drake taking a few years off could really make him have stuff to write about againn
This is some actual mid tbh
Benito slander was crazy in here man smh
The song beat change was random as f***, they woulda killed that first beat but we got what we got
What a time to be alive 🥰🥰

Came into this album with decently high expectations because I thought Her Loss was pretty great, but the first listen of this album was super rough. After a couple more listens I can say it's better than Scorpion & CLB... but that's about it.
Also felt like this album lacked any of the standard bangers that Drake albums usually have.
Best songs imo are Virginia Beach, FPS, Drew a Picasso, Members Only, What Would Pluto Do, 8AM in Charlotte, BBL Love
Calling for You had massive potential, unfortunately someone thought it would be a good idea to have a random ass skit in the middle of the song. Rich Baby Daddy was ruined by the beat switch. Lil Yachty had the worst feature on the album. Also felt like a lot of the RNB songs sounded very samey imo.
Also f*** Drake for dissing The Weeknd
That s*** ain’t hitting in the club! You get one, maybe 2 songs max
Drake albums rarely hit on the clubs. Feel like it’s usually the features he’s on or singles he releases
