shaleiroseLetâs be real here, Drake doesnât perform with a live band and all of his setlist is just CDQ instrumentals with the vocals removed, it wouldnât be hard at all to slide in a couple songs from the new album mid-tour
A couple, no. But you gotta think about lighting and pyrotechnic queues, any sort of animations or anything that go with the songs. Hard to say what all goes into it without knowing the stage setup. But yeah the setlist is pretty fluid for the first part of the tour as they take out songs that aren't working and add new ones. But you'd think a whole album's worth of new material would mean a major setlist shake up.
For example when More Life released at the end of the Boy Meets World European leg only two songs were added. But when the tour picked back up in Australia/New Zealand eight months later seven songs from More Life were in the setlist. So either they've already been rehearsing with the new album in the setlist or I don't think we're hearing much of it on the tour

Could be. But I think that would point to the album being released TONIGHT so fans have a chance to digest it before the show on Thursday.
Or they're rehearsing two setlists. One for before the album and one for after. But that's kinda s***ty for the fans on the early tour stops
