Oct 6, 2023JbreezyondeckFirst listen impressions is this is good. Seems like he went back to more of a traditional Drake album format but with more of an emphasis of a modern sound. Some of the feats I was not looking forward to (Sexy Redd and Teezo) actually did their thing so I’m happy about that. A few songs he could’ve held back potentially but I’ll continue to let them marinate before I make any definitive opinions. Still think Her Loss and Honestly Nevermind both are better projects though
Glad he’s focusing on his health and taking a well deserved break from music. I hate when people parade that sentiment like it automatically means he’ll make better music but I do think it will be good for him to live his life and come back with more to talk about
