Big artists going against each other would gain sales for both not lose any
Industry needs to realize this already
If I open a streaming app to see Taylor or drake and I end up seeing both, there’s a good chance I might stream both
Only reason labels don’t manufacture a sales war every week is because artists have fragile egos and wouldn’t want to be the loser
But it would be a win as far as streams. Social media would be going crazy if Taylor and drake dropped same day and a lot of people would listen to both. More than if they dropped separate
