I wonder if this was ever an actual record or if it was always just the outro to 9

No matter which way you slice it, the sales have trended downwards post-Views

For the third time, it doesn’t mean Drake has fallen off or anything, it’s just the state of the industry.

For All the Dogs won’t have high pure sales the same way his last three studio albums didn’t, so there’s no reason to believe it will be anywhere higher than the 500-600K range

Where the hell you want a rapper to trend from 1 mil first week. That’s happened only a handful of times in rap history 😂

Drake might be the biggest but he’s still of the industry, and the industry overall is down.

Taylor pushed a million with Midnights with the big help of physicals and pure sales. Drake is relying on streaming purely.

He’s not doing 700K+ in 2023 with only streaming.

And AGAIN, it’s not a knock on him, it’s just the state of the music industry at the moment

CLB did 743.7 million on-demand streams first week in 2021 and Taylor did 549.26 million on-demand streams with Midnights first week. So to think it’s crazy that he can’t do around the same numbers is crazy especially when he’s the biggest streaming giant EVER lol FYI idc if you were implying that his sales are going to continue to spiral down or not I’m just saying you’re underestimating his streaming performance. Also, Scorpion only outstreamed CLB because CLB had less songs.

Albums with the biggest streaming debuts in US history:
    #1 Scorpion 745M
    #2 Certified Lover Boy 743M
    #3 Midnights 549M
    #4 Tha Carter V 433M
    #5 beerbongs & bentleys 431M
    #6 Legends Never Die 423M
    #7 Eternal Atake 400M
    #8 More Life 385M
    #9 Hollywood's Bleeding 365M
    #10 DONDA 357M

Omg why do y’all interpret everything as hate

I was initially responding to someone asking why people thought this album would do 500-600K after CLB cleared 613K

On a real note, due to how billboard has handicapped the industry, I’m going with 600-700K first week. All seriousness.

Scorpion had four more songs than CLB man lmao

But I’m predicting 550-650K for this album. I don’t see how that’s an unreasonable prediction

Also, the higher end of my prediction is operating under the assumption this is 20+ songs. If it’s not, it’s definitely not reaching the 650K range

This is a fair prediction if the album is around 22-24 tracks
