tbh we all dumb for thinking october's very own would drop before that when it got so near. the 6th makes it even more likely, i really hope he dont fumble this one though.

I don’t agree with this being more hyped than CLB, even at its peak. Everyone and their mom knew CLB was coming, I’ve had to tell many people that a Drake album is coming. I know CLB had major delays but the name, the artwork, the beef, and the insane promo really captured the attention of regular ass people who normally don’t know about album drops until it shows up in their Spotify feed. Maybe more hyped to us, but I don’t think it’s more hyped overall.

sadly this is just a delayed promo for his book so that makes sense to me. although i think we all agree that IYRT is one of his best and it had little to no anticipation beforehand either, so maybe it is a good thing.
