the way i see it is it's not overshadowing, instead it's adding to the increase. the increase of making everyone's lifes better.
like why tf can't drake and thug drop on the same day as a way of making everyone happy by giving two big gifts on the same day like that
thug and drake are as established as can be. they don't even need to worry about sales cuz everyone already knows the vibe.
