now that the dust has settled, what was drake thinking releasing this as a single?
Usually I hate leaks I’ve heard being on albums but Tried Our Best could be the greatest Drake track of all time for me and I’m The Problem not far behind. Travesty if they ain’t on this. They are classic album worthy cuts, with Slime You Out that’s 3 for 3
Nothing to do with the frequency of putting out albums, sick and tired of him always announcing a release date before the album is complete. Very unprofessional and essentially disrespecting his loyal fans who were willing to spend $500 to see him performing a karaoke
Pffftt calm down
Crazy how Scorpion and Honestly, Nevermind are his only two studio albums that never got officially pushed back.
EDIT: I forgot that Scorpion was originally announced for June 14
Which means his only surprise-release studio album is the only one that never got an official delay
No, Scorpion was announced for June. Not June 14. He just said it'd drop in June and he dropped on the last Friday of June 2018.
Atleast drop a music video for the single if he gonna make us wait 3 weeks now
Chances are he drops another single the week before or the week the album drops, especially if SYO doesn't take off (which I don't really think he expects to).

Oh, Wiki says on April 26 that it was announced for June 14th
I don’t remember too well the exact details but you could be right

Should double down and drop a rap single next week
Idk why he announced sept 22 in the first place if he knew he wasn’t gonna make that deadline

That's wrong. He announced that he'd be dropping Scorpion in June back in April when he dropped Nice for What but he didn't specify an actual date.

It's possible he was set to drop the album earlier in June than he did but we know a ton of songs got made after TSOA so that's likely why he delayed till the last possible Friday of the month.

Yeah, next single off the album will almost certainly be a rap song.

Pretty boring after a few listens and it's not really old Drake either
F*** all that I want a 14 track concise album
Nah. Give me 20 tracks that sound like yesterday’s single and I’m in. That old Drake nostalgia hit so hard with that song.

Drake don’t need to drop a single to drum up hype for the album. It’s already there. This is to give us a teaser of the vibe of the album. This album seems like it’s for the real fans.
Btw the single is Drake and SZA it’s gonna pop off regardless streaming wise

Drake feat sza thats gonna do numbers regardless
Why does an Oct release mean so much to people?
I mean I get the whole “Octobers Very Own” thing, but are people really that excited over him dropping in October?
Just my favorite time of the year really
Okay I’d like to reiterate yet again. Listened again today and I don’t really like this as a single. Also some of the lyrics too cringe for me
Wow October gang won that's actually crazy
It’ll get delayed again
he's scared of lil tecca..
