snowchildRelease date has been October 6th from the beginning. The date isn’t a coincidence. The album delay is intentional and addressed on the intro to the album. Also the “ten years” thing is also addressed on the album as well.
Nicki featuring Drake was slated for September 8th for over a month, Drake misjudged how much work he could get done while touring and then also naturally gets insecure about the content of the album, alters the track list, feels like he NEEDS verses and hooks from certain artists last minute. Luckily everyone who gets a request from Drake responds within 48 hours with vocals. This is unrelated to the delay just more information I wanted to share
