i like it a lot after a few listens, though that "ayy" he drops after the first "sliming you out" part (1:12) sounds really bad
Lol I was just about to say how that’s one of my favorite parts of the song
B**** next time I swear on my grandmother graaaaaaaaaaave
Been a while since he mentionned her in a song no ?
I'll put a bounty on whoever can help me find out before I go out sad. For my sanity
I don’t think I recognize it from anywhere
Drake section been on bended knees for S&R
For me it had the classic ‘I listened to it 500 million times when it came out and then stopped’ effect
I jusr want to know what happened to Drakes voice in the last 3 yrs where he needs autotune even for normal rapping.

Think it's just the popularity of reverb and all those catchy cpu gimmicks that make voices sound cooler. Ngl the show Dave really opened me up to some modern rap production vibes. He also just doesn't have great range lol
Who is Drake talking about when he starts listing the months?
I always assume most Drake lyrics about relationships are about an amalgamation of women. Drawing from multiple experiences...ofc there are some songs (ex: Jaded) that are obviously about 1 person, but I don't believe this is one of those songs.

guess im in the minority here, maybe itll grow on me
Such an unconvential single in todays landscape, 5 minutes, no real hook. Drake did his thing when he really could've played it safe
