Unfortunately, I really dont like this one apart from the first verse.

No idea why they started mixing his vocals so weirdly and why it sounds like he lost all charisma and presence on the track.

Like people mention days in the east or keep the family close, go listen to the vocals on those. They sound so much more clear, warm, charismatic and pleasantly loud.

On this one they are quiet and sound abrasive and drenched in bad auto tune. Singing at the start also just does not sound good to me.

Still hoping that the album will have a few race my minds, the remorses and chicago freestyles because he sounds amazing on those.

SYO is aight for me, not sticking to my ribs yet but maybe it’ll grow on me. Knowing my personal taste it prob wont be in my top 5 off the album but TBD. Really like what SZA added, already was kinda here but this song lemme know the two committing to giving us a lil 5-7 track EP would be great and welcomed. The last Drake verse is as reminiscent to “old Drake” on his own stuff as i think we’ve heard him in a min (sn: same flow from Plastic Bag??)
Final thought: Like it way more than Search and Rescue but this isn’t my fave release of today by a long shot. Still hella amped and excited for the album

I like this type of Drake but it's something about his voice + the mixing on here that just sounds so boring on this song. SZA just came on this track with so much more personality and charisma
