Nah everyone was hype till they seen the Yachty and yeat stuff
is it old drake or is it drakeās riding yeat and yachty sound.
People just want good music and boat and yeat are not that to a large portion of drakeās fan base
Add in search and rescue and some may feel the album is already 3 mid skips in š¤·šæāāļø
This is not my personal feelings but I do understand where some concerns are coming from.
I don't want Yeat/Yachty on the album tbh. He can do features for their own projects if he likes but he has the chance to not f*** this album up and I hope he really takes it.
DRAKE X YEAT LIKELY SNIPPET
yesterday yeat posted and very quickly deleted this snippet, with a previously unseen pic of him and drake on the second slide of the post

im so geeked
I was hyped, hearing OK and tried our best. But Being that it took so long to finish and knowing how he sometimes switches up his albums so much, Im scared we gonna get songs that sound like that Yeat snippet and that s*** he was filming with Yachty.
Watch him add beat switches to all the snippets that leaked and throw in some random-asa features on the back end of those songs to completely ruin them
Correct. I feel like most people already have their minds made up before every Drake drop. Canāt even get through the album before calling it trash or classic.
This is Drake's own fault for talking every other day about an album none of his fans have heard and setting even more ridiculous expectations for the album than normal. He has teased this album as the best thing he's ever done and people will flame his ass if the music doesn't reflect that.

One thing about CLB that irked me was the generic ass features on there.
Man couldāve cut out half of them.
Just a reminder: Drake's choice for the lead single off More Life was Free Smoke
It wasn't until the song got sent as a single to radio and got rejected and everyone gravitated towards streaming Passionfruit more that he then pivoted to pushing that as the single off the album.
Drake's choice for the single off Scorpion following its release was Don't Matter to Me
Again, the album dropped and fans gravitated towards In My Feelings and he was forced to pull Don't Matter to Me from being sent to radio and push In My Feelings instead.
Drake's choice for the single off CLB was Way too Sexy
Drake's choice for the single off Honestly, Nevermind was Falling Back
For as much great music as Drake's projects tend to have, Drake himself has completely lost his touch for what the lead singles off his projects should be. He always chooses the absolute worst songs. I'm hoping he doesn't repeat the same mistake this week.

The only good addition to that album was Yebba. I could have done without every other artist he had on there.

I didnāt mind Giveon but yeah, I couldāve done without half at the least, he didnāt need them.
Yebba was a brilliant addition. I donāt mind him having features but just not the same ones from CLB

Yebba's Heartbreak is a timeless record. Every other feature was generic and unnecessary. Even Lil Wayne/Rick Ross didn't do anything for me on the album because the song the were on was wack. CLB just felt like a compilation of bad decisions from Drake because he had to turn an album in eventually and he was just throwing s*** at the wall, not even caring if it stuck or not. Till today, that's the Drake album I revisit the least.

True asf he weird for that
If Drake chooses the right single, he might have the chance to score his first multi-week #1 hit since 2018. If not, when the album drops next week Friday, fans will choose the best song off the album and throw their support behind that (like they always do).

maybe he made his fav songs the singlesā¦

That is still a stupid call. Singles should be the songs most likely to catch on with the masses, not your favorite songs lmao.
nicki stans begging under the rap pages on twitter for the single to be the collab so she can get an easy #1.
smh when did it stop being about the music

Never forget 40 saying Ratchet Happy Birthday was a huge moment in the culture

What do you think that in the problem open was for

Iām The Problem (ft. Yeat)
If the single is at least OK then this album is gonna be bigger than CLB for sure
releasing single a week before is huge
