Lil Yachty is talking For All the Dogs, which his friend/collaborator Drake just locked in for a Sept. 22 release date.
On his A Safe Place podcast with MitchGoneMad, Yachty said the heavily teased album "sounds very current" and will contain some career-highs for 36-year-old Drizzy.
āSome of the best Drake verses that I ever heard are on this album. ⦠People gonna have a lot to say about some of his topics on this album," the Let's Start Here artist divulged. "And I donāt think he does it on purpose, I think itās just himāhe just has a real...I will say he deals with some controversial things.ā
Yachty wound up wondering if he "told y'all too much, 'cause Drake says nothing."
Sounds like the same old Drake to me.
there goes the āold drakeā theory
Unless the he means the topics heās discussing or bringing up are current
big shoes to fill dropping this on the near anny of NWTS man
NWTS is special

If he dropping another Scorpion I might have to go to war with some of yāall stans

Heās definitely selling more than Trav imo again yāall donāt understand that Drake has men and women stans and then you got the general public to count on top of that. Canāt say Trav had all of that especially with the Astrofest on his head.
Yeah it was Travis's first album in years with a ton of momentum and huge features.
But we'll see I could be wrong. I just think it's foolish to assume he's going to top what Travis did. Travis is huge AND had bundles.
Unless the he means the topics heās discussing or bringing up are current
makes sense
An almost 2 week notice is interesting. Wonder if heās planning to drop a single before the album

Drake rapping about Roe v Wade?
Yachty said āit sounds currentā
lol yes. But hopefully you hear it. With CLB I think there was a few tracks that we did that didnāt even make the cut. For example there was a Wayne track missing that Iām not sure why wasnāt on there, imo couldāve been a top 2 song on there.
Always appreciate real insiders like you bro, for real!
Drake: FOR ALL THE DOGS
THEY SAY THEY MISS THE OLD DRAKE GIRL DON'T TEMPT ME

Itās Drake though lol the highest selling rapper in the game, you canāt think that itās foolish for him to outsell Travis Scott. Btw I love Utopia and I donāt think this album will be better than it but itāll definitely beat it sales wise
Travis album has no replay value..This is a new Drake project. Papiās Angels will be bumping it for months/years after
650-700k easy
He took a whole year for this and didnāt even bless us this summer, so this better keep up the quality of the last two to keep this run going
respectfully
with the way everyone else is moving now (silent for 3+ years), 1 year is still a fast turnaround time. this is still technically less than a year after Her Loss too, which was 4ish months after Honestly Nevermind
