I dunno man. People were talking about CLB for a minute during lockdown. The hairstyle (memes going around) and people copying it, the leaks, the merch drops (long before the album drop smh), LNCL still dropped, the Instagram Live sessions and him talking about it had people pumped for it.

Then it was those pop ups for CLB merch leading up to the album. Then the trippie track not long before the album dropped had everybody anticipating it.

Also DLDT and SH2 sort of being appetizers and the viral ESPN teaser.

I think it's way more than that, iv seen countless tiktoks with 100ks/millions of likes of Drake talking about the album on tour. Plus big IG/twitter accounts constantly posting about the album multiple times a week

i don't think CLB really much reach outside of the fanbase

Yeah that was all stuff only fans cared about tho, especially stuff like the merch/hair/iglive, this album is getting talked about in the general space maybe the most iv ever seen an album get talked about, hell maybe even more than Utopia was.

Drake has Twitter/IG/Tiktok on lock w/ the FATD hype, a lot of that is cause he's on tour which is huge for getting the word out
