Him and KD confirmed that they heard several songs off Her Loss months before the album dropped in their podcast episode reviewing the album so he's usually clued in on some stuff — of course, it's all dependent on if/when Drake sends KD some stuff to hear or he gets information that Drake will be dropping soon.

Taking the temperature of the room. Has this “rollout” ruined anything for you in terms of the album? Or are you still excited/indifferent?
I really dgaf since I’ll be hype either way when the album drops. Only problem is is that I feel like Drake has the bad habit of worsening his albums the longer he sits with them.

Yup. I remember thinking a single, announcement or something was coming within the week after he tweeted it but nothing came. Then 3 days after that week was over, Drake announced the album 🤷🏻♂️
