He cares about streaming numbers more than anything. I believe he doesnât do bundles and he surprise drops because he wants to prove that he can still be the best without gimmicks. Do you think heâd release the same day as Taylor swift? Absolutely not. Olivia rodrigo clearly isnt in the same class as swift but it would definitely eat at his streams.

Fans talk about this s*** & care more about it than artists do, especially the ones at the top. I donât think Taylor, Adele, BeyoncĂŠ or Drake are pulling out a calendar & checking to make sure itâs clear of anyone else. Thereâs no way to prove this so itâs become fact at this point that they do. Agree to disagree.

Nothing about the album has leaked the entire summer so itâs unlikely there was a leak about the date. Usually you see something from producers or friends that worked on it or heard it, it was radio silent. Itâs much more likely that all these pages, just like us, assumed it was coming Friday because of the cover on Monday.

what doesnât make sense about it is that none of these pages like OTI or beepr posted that the album was coming friday when the cover dropped. then the day after, almost simultaneously they all tweeted it, along with amazon music. beepr said spotify had told them it was coming friday, so maybe thatâs what happened with the other pages?

Unfortunately none of this is verifiable so weâre all left guessing. I think if there was actual info that leaked & it was coming Friday, there wouldâve been more noise from the usual suspects that we see each drop. Unless I missed it I didnât see anything.
