Same dudes that came up clowning dust heads for saying drake was soft gay etc are now doing the exact same thing in the face of new artists coming up under drake etc
Itâs all a cycle
If you refuse to evolve/adapt you will just become dusty listening to blueprint in 2023
tell me who this evolved rap artist that's changing the game in 2023 is pls lmaooo
Rap music like the blueprint is dead
Thatâs why no one makes albums that sound like that anymore
Because itâs absolutely washed and rinsed
tell me who this evolved rap artist that's changing the game in 2023 is pls lmaooo
Rap is dead
Rap artists are collectively moving to more pop and dance sounds
FATD would be hype now cus it fits drakes vibe he got going right now, with Her Loss attitude and meltdown, dropping a hard ass album titled For All the Dogs is perfect
But if he delays until next year who knows what the vibes on then and itll seem misplaced
None of this matters because if he decides to have physicals ready he won't be tinkering with the album. And he can take the time after the tour to pick singles, shoot visuals, come up with a strategy for promoting the album, etc.
He drops it now and he's ignoring the album after week 1 like he did with his last 3 projects.
tell me who this evolved rap artist that's changing the game in 2023 is pls lmaooo
Ice Spice
Late 90s early 00s rap is not the litmus for what is classic anymore
Unless youâre old as f*** and washed no one around you gives a single f*** about the blueprint
The genre is 50 years old. Classic rap in the 90âs & 00âs is absolutely still the bar. BP1 is one of the most important rap albums to ever come out. If youâre a fan of rap, it should definitely still be held in high regard.

And the artists primarily doing this are forward thinking producers like bnyx f1lthy Fred again etc etc etc
Ice Spice
that's like saying olivia rodgiquez or whatever is changing the pop game no?

oh come on man my guy listed 2 hip hop producers who have the same drums and a guy who does House festivals lmao
Weâre in here slandering Hov & his body of work. Unbelievable.
absolutely insane

Itâs a good album
Great even
Itâs no longer the litmus of what rap wants to sound like
I want new Drake music as much as the next person but it sucks seeing him waste the potential of dozens of singles because of laziness/unpreparedness. This isn't the 2010s. He's gonna need to make more of an effort in this decade to score hits the way he did back then, especially the further in we go into the decade.
that's like saying olivia rodgiquez or whatever is changing the pop game no?
Im just trolling lol
Im not too familiar with her music but youre probably right
oh come on man my guy listed 2 hip hop producers who have the same drums and a guy who does House festivals lmao
Again youâre boxed in mentally to what music is doing
Why Latin rap/trap Reggeton has so much crossover appeal is because itâs completely divorced from the 90s rap sound
Itâs a good album
Great even
Itâs no longer the litmus of what rap wants to sound like
It absolutely is still the gold standard. Does not mean that the music coming out today is not good.
every dog worldwide wonât be able to sleep tonight because the super exciting international dog day is just one sleep away⌠but fear not, the drizzler is ready to bless the sleepless

On Reddit this morning, I saw somebody trying to claim that f***ing JID should be on a new version of Forever over Hov
This generation is lost. Probably all of the xans they were doing in middle school to be like their idol Lil Pump

It is a bar but not the bar. There are so many different rap classics that have their own unique sound and characteristics to me it sounds silly to silo it to a single one which is why I find the rap purist argument nonsense because if it were up them the genre would be permanently stagnant
You are all the dust heads of today
Thereâs no shame in that
But that is what the perception of yâall is to the younger generation who I promsie doesnât care about the blueprint one.
That isnât to say that isnât a good album
Itâs just not current anymore
Itâll eventually happen to Drakes music too
Again youâre boxed in mentally to what music is doing
literally not boxed in whatsoever, I just have enough respect to Old classics that still bang and can vibe with newer projects as well. Why can't you enjoy Blueprint and at the same time bump some new Luh Tyler without calling someone dust or washed lmao

I hope hov sees this
