ryuHI didn’t expect it to drop this week or anytime before now but I do think it should drop sometime in September to keep his word on the summer drop (which he’s broken in the past so not really a big factor) or late October after the tour.
He also could pull a fast one and actually drop tonight because of international dog day as others have mentioned which would honestly be pretty smart from a marketing standpoint but I think that’s wishful thinking at best.
Worse case scenario is this is another Views/CLB situation and it doesn’t drop until like Q3 2024. That would suck but I wouldn’t be shocked. I definitely think it would ruin the album though. Overcooked Drake albums always be the worst ones. Drake is at his best when he just captures the moment that he’s in and just drops.

Closest is NWTS and most people will say Take Care but I vividly remember people on rap communities and people like Charlemagne outside of all the jokes earnestly still asking where his Blueprint level album after Take Care had already dropped
I can see how people kinda feel that way even tho you could argue again for TC NWTS IYRTITL
the album that dropped over ten years ago but indefinitely is on the BB200 list and widely regarded as a shifting album not only for the career of one of the biggest rappers of all time but also for the landscape of music at the time is not a classic because CTG said so
