jumbotronseptember - october is stacked? the only two albums that would go number one over him on a given week are olivia’s album (releases sep 8) and taylor’s album (releases oct 27). drake should be able to release any week between those two and go number one for at least 2-3 weeks
It's less about what albums could debut at #1 over him and just that a s*** ton of music dropping around that time after most people stayed silent for most of the year. Not saying he wouldn't dominate the conversation over those albums whenever he drops but dropping an album late in the year isn't the best idea for various reasons. He promised a summer album and the summer is over. He also doesn't need to rush the release of this album.
He's clearly busy on tour so he might as well take all the time he needs to properly release the album this time. That's really my point.
