Is HDD super reliable?
They're industry insiders, basically.
This is an album Drake has been teasing for months so it's possible he's told Republic he's looking at Friday as when he'd like to drop and he just hasn't turned it yet but HDD has learned about that date because to my knowledge, since he's been on tour making announcements about the album, this is the first time HDD has written anything about its release.
The album might not drop this Friday but I think Drake is done recording and 40 is the one who isn't done with the finetuning of the album. My guess is Noel is assisting him on that end of things and they're working hard to finish things up because Drake is set on dropping ASAP.
If the album will be dropping this week, Drake should say something about it in one of the last two LA shows.

Makes sense. I don’t know if he would ever give a date on stage but the rest sounds good. HDD hasn’t said anything until now 🤷🏻♂️
