People are gonna appreciate CLB one day man, such a great album

I think the cover art and a few songs at the start of the album made people dislike it alot but there's alot of amazing songs on here

It’s a bunch of really good songs and like no hate but I don’t know what keeps me from revisiting it more often
I think HN and Her Loss are just so much better and came out pretty soon after that they made people forget about this album a little quicker

I'm gonna be honest I really think it's the sequencing of the album. Alot of people really don't f*** with Girls Want Girls and In The Bible at all.
They're alright songs and i'm not hating on them or anything but they could've been loosies TBH
They really kill the momentum of the album right at the beginning
Like if CLB went from Champagne Poetry and then right to Fair Trade or TSU people would like it a lot more
Imo

I’m glad u said it and not me lol
for a while I had no idea TSU and No Friends in the Industry were hiding on that tracklist because I was lowkey out after In The Bible lol

Track 2 TSU would’ve been crazy

It sucks cause people just call it trash after that, but there's a lot of gems on there

Really don't know why they put those at the top of the tracklist, they'd fit well next to the PND song if anything for a run of slower songs

remove the GWG, ITB, love all three track run and the album would’ve been received far better

Agreed, I f*** with Love All a lot though but I know that people preferred Lotta 42

It’s overhated. F***ing fans one of my fav drake songs in recent memory.
N 2 Deep might be my favorite future/drake song

It’s prob there best track

Changing the order you think make an album better?

Drake on that type of production was so unexpected

Facts but CLB is a main Drake "Album" if you get what I mean
Like not a Mixtape, Playlist etc
I do agree though that More Life is also super similar for sure
There's a certain type of Drake album where he adds a bunch of different sounds on one album and those 3 are definitely it
CLB is weird for me because I think it has a few songs that are Top 25-30 Drake songs (N 2 Deep, TSU, Champagne Poetry, Pipe Down), but overall I think it’s his weakest project
Changing the order you think make an album better?
Definitely for those people who prefer concise albums
I still think it's great regardless
But the reception wouldve been a lot better with a different cover art and a few tracklist changes
It's crazy how small stuff like that could really make a difference
I’m at top golf right now and literally every other song is a drake song 😂
(Tonight)
Also I can’t believe Fair Trade isn’t hyped up more. Admittedly, trav ruined it for me. That flow drake had on that wavy beat was god tier
