hearing drake say he loves the album with all his heart means a lot to me, you can tell when he doesn’t love something he drops cough (clb) cough

drake has done all kinds of rollout during his career:

• conventional rollouts (3 months, 2 singles, solid release date, etc)

• surprise drop (IG post saying "tonight" on the day it drops)

• and now he's doing the "extended rollout" again, as he did with CLB ("guys, just wait until it's perfect")

very interesting from the artist's pov, and it's funny that doesn't matter the type of rollout he chooses, the whole world keeps watching everytime...

i'm not talking about quality or stannery, but you can't deny how everytime this man is supposed to drop something, everyone holds their breath

as twitter people would say, "Drake got us all on a chokehold"

I mean yea ultimately he has a really large fanbase that is tuned in to what he’s doing or not doing etc

But these extended rollouts I think put undue stress on the fanbase unnecessarily

Yeah I’m ok waiting a couple months for an album announcement if he gives an actual date and something to look forward to. But this s*** with “I got an album on the way” followed by months of “soon” and no real updates is boring, played out, and just plain annoying.

If he does drop it on that date, it will pretty much be the same thing they did for More Life, pretty sure that dropped at the end of BMWT before they took a long break.
