Drake is my second favorite rapper so I’m gonna be in threads discussing his music regardless.

The problem is anytime I, or anyone for that matter, try to critique the guy in even the slightest way it’s met with ridiculous amounts of hostility from the stans

Funny thing too is we always get the date or news when I least expect it

Not really what I see happening all the time. I see people showing love or going crazy over a new drake verse and then they get called d***riders, etc. it’s not a one sided discourse but I get where you’re coming from.

It definitely goes both ways, but I feel like any time anyone tries to be critical about a Drake song or a Drake project on here it just gets met with hostility and eliminates all potential for actual discussion

CLB was a solid 7/10 for me for the first 3 months then summer came back around and I was like yo this ain’t hitting anymore..
Now it’s like a 3/10

Honestly Nevermind was cool but it’s not what the fans wanted and I get everyone will argue that, but it’s not longevity music, didn’t have any memorable music, 2 songs we can argue here maybe.

HL was dope but then again it’s a collab project. All the major fans want is a recreation of the NWTS/ IFYTITL albums.
And he literally said it at one point. But at this moment in time I think he don’t give a f*** what the ppl want he’s so big he don’t care.

TLDR: Drake needs to change

The great think about an opinion is that it belongs to you & only you. Just because your opinion is not met with niceties, doesn’t invalidate it. You don’t need to defend yourself about what you do & don’t like, especially to strangers online. You’re not on trial. Stop taking things so seriously.
