Old Drake means so many diff things to diff people that it will only set him up to fail. Is old Drake 2011 or 2014 or 2016-17? Idk idk
I'm thinking he means 2011-2016 Drake cause honestly that's what everyone always says is his best era if he can dip into that sound a bit mixed with his newer melody's and flows then omg he's started this decade off flawlessly

I tend to agree. But my baby sis thinks old Drake is Views/ML era…and most people in college will be of that opinion.
I think old is just a relative designation which makes it vague.

The album is still cookin, but there are active discussions about moving the release date up possibly sooner to end of month. That means an announcement sooner than month end as originally planned. It’s obvious at this point that 40 just can’t handle most of the production anymore. mixing and some co-prod is what he contributes
I assume this is because of his health or just him living his own life and not locking in like they did in the past
You make a good point though. Drake never fell off at all but 40’s reduced role is what really separates “old drake” and “new drake” for me. It’s sad
