The only way it’s scrapped is if he has another album to push through the universal deal. I think it’s safe to say he knew what he was going to do with the universal deal, like he knew if he did it right it would be an easy 500M.. so unless he has another album ready to go for them, it may be a forced release indeed

UMG isn't in a hurry to have a new Drake album out. That's all Drake. They're not dictating how he moves in any way.

Will he drop at the same as Party though? Not that their in the same lane per se but he/they probably still want to give Party some time to shine.
Difficult to see Drake drop right before the tour starts, but who knows. Drake can do whatever he want.

So this may play out like a DLDT ordeal you think? There was atleast half of that album floating around before it officially released. I’m not pressed about a new album I’m just trying to get a sense of what may happen now.

Party is notorious for pushing back albums, until he announces an exact specific date there’s no reason to believe it’s coming anytime soon
