Yeah I remember all that, but this coincides with a book release that just happened. I feel like it’d be closer to that than 2 years from now. Also, CLB was during the COVID phase, which probably played a big part of its delay.

My theory is Drake made the announcement when he was under the influence of something. Sure he probably had a project on the way in the near future but it probably wasn’t at the stage where he could come out and make an announcement that something is dropping (supposedly soon). Now he’s probably scrambling to get something finished. And it’ll prob end up being mid (again)

They're being delusional with their expectations. A full Drake R&B album with 12-14 tracks would struggle to pull 200k first week. They all forget how Honestly, Nevermind was carried by streams from Sticky/Jimmy Cooks and even then, it barely did 200k first week.
