That’s exactly what trump and his black conservatives were trying to do with that blexit s***. Kanye dumbass fell for it.
No what conservatives were doing was convincing Black people that being republican WAS being free. When in reality Kanye was just talking to republicans in order to demonstrate "hey guys we can actually have conversations with the people we've been told were 'the enemy' " and promote the message that as black folks we should feel free to align with whatever politics helps us in our own lives
the way you worded that s*** was so nasty
along with saying the overbearing s*** its often followed up with lines like:
“I'm just bein' silly”
“Just bein salty”
“But how you the devil rebukin' the sin?”
he realises (on that song at least even if going forward he didn’t stick by it) he shouldn’t control his daughters life when it would be hypocritical of him to do so given his past
the hook saying “The lie is wearin' off, reality is upon us, colors drippin' off” to me at least illustrates that his way of thinking on this track is not realistic at all
The song also highlights his insecurity with his relationship to fame. His wife came up showing her body, and while that may have partly been what attracted him to Kim, obviously he doesn't want that for his daighter.
Haven’t heard this yet. Any indication if this is gonna go on streaming at any point?
I kind of hope not
i Don’t want this petty beef s*** to ruin that song…it could be super special
Things being discussed the day after CLB's release:
-A leaked Kanye West song
-Streaming numbers
-Drake coming out as a he/him lesbian
This album sure gonna age well
ayo
Drake not even winning the battle outside?
