Drake is one of the biggest artists in the world.

Thinking his career was gonna end after losing a major rap battle was unrealistic.

Kendrick would probably tell you that himself. He just had his foot on his neck. That’s all.

Drake losing to Kendrick is cemented now no matter what. That will never change.

He lost to a better rapper.

Drake is far from done but I don’t understand how him bouncing back and doing well after will be such a huge Win for yall like it’s going to completely erase what happened.

Tell this to everyone who was spelling Drake's end after the beef. People were posting tweets, writing articles and making podcasts saying Drake's career was worse off than Ja Rule's career was after he lost to 50 Cent.

Many Drake haters were waiting with bated breath to see what $$$4U would sound like and how it would perform because they were all ready to crown the album a flop and call it terrible. The album ended up being a huge success with multiple hit singles and people love the album.

Kendrick and people in his camp spent so much time viciously pushing nasty narratives about Drake last year even after "winning the battle" because they wanted to completely ruin his image and his career. Only a fool would think otherwise.

the way she's lying about $$$u is crazy. It still did well tho

I hope he drop soon I don’t wanna have to keep playing this same song for months on end but I will if I have to

I said it the night he first previewed the song that it wasn't lead single material to me. It's a slapper, yes, but it very much feels like something he dropped so he'd have a fresh, new rap cut to perform at Wireless Festival and as a teaser to the forthcoming album, much like Smile You Out and 8AM in Charlotte were for For All the Dogs.

I originally thought he'd wait till after the summer to drop the album but now I think we're about 4-6 weeks away from getting the album.

Me and other fans in this sxn been streaming this song nonstop and it’s already falling? Im not familiar with charts. Is this normal?

It actually gained in streams, although not by a lot. The other two songs gained more and that's why they rose. If nothing else, the song is stable. This is the same thing that happened with Nokia. It never posted massive streaming numbers. It just remained stable enough till more and more people learned about the song and it became a legitimate hit.

The reason they can’t get rid of Drake is because Drake is actually beloved by the people for his music. Not for how deep he is not for how “important” he is, not because a bunch of people co signs. People love the sound tracks he provides for them to live their lives too

People love those artists for their music above anything. You sound like you've been brain rotted over "the discourse" ngl

most successful collab album in a while btw

Only an idiot would disagree that the album has been successful. Nokia and Somebody Loves Me are legitimate hits that ring off everywhere they get played.

Despite debuting with over 150k units less than Her Loss, its performed just as well as that album has.

Even Drake haters have spent all year raving about the album and how its grown on them since it dropped.

How does all of that not add up to the album being a success? Especially with it being a collab R&B album?

Now she isn't using the word "huge" success anymore she's slowly learning

Her Loss was still more successful btw
