it's been a staple since TML
I just think they were way more interestingly done back then, 40 probably just had way more excitement and energy for it back in the day when they were still trying to make it where they are now.
like the beat switches on his old music are so well layered and transitioned in, vs now it can be jarring and feel forced
If he had stuff like this on his newer songs, we'd still love them

That's kind of a lot for one project imo
Again, I like them, but it feels like theres a little bit of a reliance on them is all
