The NYT article really got chubby hiphop-head and afro shea butter twitter in an uproar, with them giving Drake absolutely no credit in the popularization of rapping and singing style and the melody driven flows that dominate rap today. To add to that, the Billie Eilish comment on how her and Drake text also has has liberal white feminists and pimpled reddit white knights in shambles with them calling Drake a pedophile and a groomer, conveniently ignoring the fact that they're artists and work in the same industry which hmmm idk requires communication and collaboration. Oh and he also got booed off stage. Drake in 2016 could go on any stage in the western world and would NOT get booed off idc what anybody says. But things have changed and its the beginning of a new decade.
