The lawsuit is not about Kendrick’s “claims” intrinsically, it’s a claim that the label had a conflict of interest in promoting Kendrick’s “claims”. Kendrick could theoretically have sued the label too. There is a reason Drake didn’t just sue Kendrick, it would be a different case entirely. Not saying whether or not there’s a good case or not, but people should at least know what the claim is

I get it's technically about the song supposedly getting boosted, I guess we'll see, but I think we all know at it's core, drake's upset about what Kendrick said, so it is more or less against Kendrick, Like I said, it's a dumb lawsuit in my book, would also have been goofy if the tables were turned, A rap beef brought about a lawsuit, which is comical. I hope for Drake's sake he's thought this through because I'd be willing to bet that the next beef he has, whoever is on the other side will play the " Can't say anything about Drake or he'll get lawyers" angle

It's a b**** move to sue after the beef. But again, your own label is pushing a song calling you a pdf the same year you're supposed to sign a new contract with them, so its sounds like a justified way to get your pride and money back.
