Wouldn't that make the case stronger for drake
No because it would show he’s guilty of the same s*** he’s accusing them of doing against him
Originally it was that they were all involved and that UMG paid out of their pocket. Now it’s that they were aware it was being paid for outside of their doing but didn’t nothing stop it
So, a third party was basically boosting streams therefore increasing revenues for UMG, and UMG should have said "please no, stop giving us money and free publicity!"?

You guys are not understanding, bots doesn’t matter on its own. It’s when they a leveraged to deframe Drake. Thats the problem. So even if Drake used bots in the past, it wouldn’t matter cause it’s not at anyone expense
I still don’t understand what Drake wants out of this, what’s the endgame for him. Say he wins or whatever then what the fans won’t give a s***. The song is already cemented in history.
$$$
ill try to answer genuinely and not condescending lmfao
iirc in the lawsuit it was mentioned he had his house shot, he had people break into his property, he had to move schools for adonis and he had his ovo stores vandalized, all post-beef.
It's going to be tough for him to link those to the song and specifically to UMG promoting it, thereby popularizing the narrative that he's a pdf. Causation is an element that has to be proven, it's not enough to say "These happened after NLU dropped, that's the cause and UMG is liable"
Is it written anywhere if drake tried to get a disclaimer on family matters being played in places too? I'm sure I remember jayson tatum singing along to it at a game

They were not “leveraged to defame Drake”. The song was popular, and they were doing their due diligence as any other record label would and promoted it. Labels can’t differentiate marketing budgets based on the content of a song. If it’s popular, it’s gonna get pushed.
Therefore, if it comes out that UMG has done the same for Drake and other artists as they did for NLU, then the court will decide that it’s standard practice for them when it comes to marketing records rather than a targeted attempt to defame Drake
I’m not one of them conspiracy weirdos but them dark Kenny dudes actually got some s*** going on

yeah, im not a lawyer so on either this or the social media comments i dont really have any expertise to say what will work and what wont, just sharing what ive read
That sentence came after you said ''I don't completely disagree with your post, but there's the usual falsifying and misrepresentations you do to defend Drake.''. You took it there. And I actually thought it was obvious for someone in the legal field that ''small stories'' was said in the context of the lawsuit. We all witnessed the beef and have seen old white people who aren't fans of hip-hop suddenly describe Drake with words from the beef.
"Old white people" is you in a couple of years
But let's just end the discussion here and see how it plays out because from the limited knowledge I have of the pleadings I can see it going either way, depending on the Judge
I’m not one of them conspiracy weirdos but them dark Kenny dudes actually got some s*** going on
this is low even for u

Haven't read the papers in full, so I can't say either tbh. But the relying on social media posts from random accounts is shaky, I'll say that

Even publishing the song is defaming Drake, that’s their whole case.

I don’t believe any conspiracies but I enjoy hearing about them
Most of the Kendrick/Drake conspiracies are boring because it’s always “KENDRICK PUT A SECRET MESSAGE IN THIS!” and I don’t believe none of that goofy s***
That’s not what they got going on rn tho
No because it would show he’s guilty of the same s*** he’s accusing them of doing against him
That only makes it look bad to the public but to the court it would proving his case

Maybe because she was tired of getting harassed by drake stans over a linkedin post ?
holy s*** i just went to that r/darkkenny for the first time and these dudes are nuts
talking about drake gifting chains and how it connects him to being a murderer....
hasnt every rapper ever gifted chains or been associated with criminals?
Maybe because she was tired of getting harassed by drake stans over a linkedin post ?
This is never the answer to them
It’s like they think social media is god
It’s why they thought “why is she following Dave but not Kendrick” was some scathing diss because if it’s on social media it must be fact
It’s why they post aubreysattorney, keepsixsolid, and akaedmiksTV posts without feeling pathetic
