Drake goes to heaven and meets god and god says you can ask me one question drake asks how did kendrick manage to get the labels and platform to bot the streams? God replies "he didn’t bot the streams those were all organic" Drake thinks "this goes higher up than i thought…"

Honestly wonder how much of this is cooked up by The Agency Group™️, something about the recent narrative push on twitter and tik tok doesn’t feel organic..
Maybe it’s something that’s worth its own thread.

Wasn’t the point of the lawsuit to say UMG illegally pushed a song that defamed Drake?
So now he’s just suing because Kendrick called him a name?

Pushing a song isn't limited to botting. That's not the usual method used by labels when pushing songs

Well the reasoning y'all liked to throw around for this "defamation lawsuit" was that UMG had some sort of foul play going on via botting. Now that that has been removed it's only natural to question what the real reason is now. Seems it's only because he lost a rap battle.

Pushing a song also isn't inherently illegal. That's what they do. Botting on the other hand would be illegal
kinda funny seeing everyone realise those bot allegations were removed in February
made this case pointless to even follow for me. basically just throwing toys out a pram cos daddy lucian didnt protect you for being the cash cow of UMG
hope drake gets out of his contract though, he should have been independent from 2018 tbh

So if the label was pushing the song legally, The same way they would any other song that popped off as hard as NLU, What’s the issue here?
They allowed Drake to drop his disses and push narratives that damage Kendrick’s career. A big one being this lawsuit itself, Drake pushed a narrative Kendrick uses bots which seems to be almost confirmed not true yet thousands of people are still referring to Kendrick as Kbot
It doesn’t make sense to even sue UMG at this point. It would be a b**** move but it makes more sense to sue Kendrick as all UMG did was allow the artists to drop songs saying whatever they wanted and promoted songs that were popping off, The same way they would with any song released by an artist signed to them

Defamation. It's a defamation lawsuit.

Issue is not whether they legally or illegally pushed the song. He is claiming that the song itself is a defamation of his character and his own label is complicit if they pushed the song - botting or not.

moving goalposts is insane
Defamation. It's a defamation lawsuit.
Yes but Drake was saying UMG used illegal means to promote a song that defames him with the intention to purposefully damage his career
Without that he’s basically suing them because they let Kendrick call him a name (which he also did) So even if he wins this thing it doesn’t f***ing mean anything
These niggas was screaming bots to the rooftops for months and now it doesn’t matter if bots were used or not because drakes feelings were hurt regardless
