Pushing a song isn't limited to botting. That's not the usual method used by labels when pushing songs

Well the reasoning y'all liked to throw around for this "defamation lawsuit" was that UMG had some sort of foul play going on via botting. Now that that has been removed it's only natural to question what the real reason is now. Seems it's only because he lost a rap battle.

Pushing a song also isn't inherently illegal. That's what they do. Botting on the other hand would be illegal

They allowed Drake to drop his disses and push narratives that damage Kendrick’s career. A big one being this lawsuit itself, Drake pushed a narrative Kendrick uses bots which seems to be almost confirmed not true yet thousands of people are still referring to Kendrick as Kbot

It doesn’t make sense to even sue UMG at this point. It would be a b**** move but it makes more sense to sue Kendrick as all UMG did was allow the artists to drop songs saying whatever they wanted and promoted songs that were popping off, The same way they would with any song released by an artist signed to them

Issue is not whether they legally or illegally pushed the song. He is claiming that the song itself is a defamation of his character and his own label is complicit if they pushed the song - botting or not.
