But supporting UMG, a multi-billion dollar record label known for f***ing over DOZENS of artists, just makes you look stupid. They think because their favorite rappers aren't suing as well that they're also not having their own issues with UMG lol.
Once again I feel like I got to respond to this nonsense because it trying to paint hip hop fans in a negative light.
We gotta stop saying that if we don’t support drake here it means we are 100% pro UMG and we agree with everything going on.
There nuance to this and we aren’t just gonna back drake and turn a blind eye to all the implications this could have on hip hop as a genre moving forward.
We very well could be heading down a path of significant censorship, Labels will not risk a lawsuit that could cost them billions of dollars.
