The control verse partially woke up the rap game because of how overrated it was bothered people too. There are many rappers where if they dropped that same exact verse or better ( there are many better since) doesnt get the same reaction. Again I am a Kendrick fan who has more hours listened than most of the Kendrcick fans here combined but you have to recongnize media coverage of him is different. Same as it is for Drake
I am going to attempt a normal discussion if it goes left though I am blocking or leaving thread
I would argue Control is a top tier verse, but I agree that unfortunately if most artists dropped it, it wouldn’t be received the same way.
It’s a shame; being popular will push opinions of your music to the extremes; either trash or GOAT. And being less popular will do the opposite; everyone will call it closer to mid than it really is
Waiting to see what the quality is like for the gear. I got true slippers though cause regardless of it’s just ok quality I can justify that for shoes
Them pods were well made enough for 20, for me to double back and drop 2 hundo on the yeezy man

Like why it take me so long to make the connection
Oh s***, I just made the whole connection
Every great magic trick consists of three parts or acts. The first part is called "The Pledge". The magician shows you something ordinary: a deck of cards, a bird or a man. He shows you this object. Perhaps he asks you to inspect it to see if it is indeed real, unaltered, normal. But of course... it probably isn't.
The second act is called "The Turn". The magician takes the ordinary something and makes it do something extraordinary. Now you're looking for the secret... but you won't find it, because of course you're not really looking. You don't really want to know. You want to be fooled. But you wouldn't clap yet. Because making something disappear isn't enough; you have to bring it back.
That's why every magic trick has a third act, the hardest part, the part we call "The Prestige".

Pods? I didn’t know he dropped something prior. I thought this was the initial drop.

Need to know what Zack from Birmingham’s take on this is
“It takes a certain individual to understand that this fight is bigger than the idiocy you all are trying to make it about within this thread”
Or some British proper bloke s***
