There's over a dozen artists currently suing UMG, in case you didn't know. They're ALWAYS getting sued. That's why they have high-profile lawyers on retainer.
Again, as for rap beef, no one mainstream is having any rap beefs to begin with, yet alone having rap beefs where defamatory things are being said that would cause UMG to be sued. That's why I highlighted that all 3 major rap beefs we've had in the last 10 years have all involved Drake.
UMG also won't begin to censor gun talk or murder talk in rap because of this suit. Nothing will change. Y'all are just making s*** up.
Absolutely, a lawsuit that has this amount of eyes on it will absolutely set a precedent for future lawsuits, even before the outcome is reached.
Once again saying that no one mainstream has rap beefs is not a good way to dismiss the impact it could have.

SABMAN TURNTi’d consider myself a more-than-average fan of drake, but sometimes i think that the people who are REALLY into Drake & boast about his sales are just there because they want to be part of a large community & have a strong desire to be liked. and where better to find that than with other fans of the most popular rapper? to them, if anything Drake did is considered weird, that’s a personal attack on them, because they’ve based their entire persona on being one of his supporters in order to make friends.
it’s a half baked idea i just came up with while typing it out, and it probably doesn’t make sense, but there’s something to it. it might not even be a Drake exclusive thing, maybe it’s a stan thing in general.
people been following him like a sports team for ages lol
it happens with all the other big stars too though, so yeah just stan culture in general. i dont get why people get so personally attached to it.
