No, they didn't. And that's okay. You can't even begin to compare the playlist placements songs like euphoria and meet the grahams got, not to mention Not Like Us.

All they did was publish Drake's diss tracks. All the actual push was reserved for Kendrick's diss tracks.

Not that any of that even matters. What's done is done. The beef is done. Kendrick "won." That's not what Drake's lawsuit is about and if you don't get that then I don't know what to tell you.

They got placements because of engagement. Why are you so dense when things don’t go your way

Because in the 81 page document he cited people like that random in DJ Akademiks stream as his proof

I love how the Drake fans won’t acknowledge that part

  • Feb 26, 2025

Kendrick had more views and plays so they of course will get placements. Why yall so stupid

  • Feb 26, 2025

Drake stans spent the entire 2024 posting his streaming stats and using that to say he was still on top.

Now suddenly none of that matters and UMG suppressed his music

In drakes 81 page document there is not a single factual source btw

It’s all twitter posts, speculation, and Akademiks

Reality is that UMG did push family matters, it had a music video and a lyric video.. it just didnt stick because the song was unfocused and really not very good.

Fans of music can see the impact that something like this would have on the industry (censorship), Drake once again escalated a beef by bringing family into it and thinks that his “opposition” is crossing the line when they reciprocate.

UMG pushed both songs because like any other business they want to make as much money as possible and don’t really care how it affects its artists.

The main problem with Family Matters IMO is that he went the 6 minute beat switch route as a response to Euphoria.

As a euphoria response it’s damn good, but it falls apart when compared to MTG and NLU combined, and he didn’t have anything left in the tank besides The Damage Control Part 6

It’s wild to me that you say family matters did not receive any push when it literally has two music videos, I feel like a lot of propaganda gets pushed out by streamers on his pay role.

I agree it’s not about who won or lost, it’s about a real concern of censorship in music moving forward.

That UMG "let" Drake release his diss records is neither here nor there here.

It is about the contract and the negotiation. The timing of all this beef wasnt a coincidence.

They have purposefully colluded to drive down his worth to gain a stronger position against him in their own negotiation with him. Dont you understand or see how f***ed up that is?

It is some insider trading type s***, as both these artists are signed by the same company.

    They are criminals.

UMG didn’t push Family Matters or Not Like Us. Ya’ll rewriting history. Both tracks dropped on Friday and Saturday with Heart Part 6 dropping Sunday. Them execs were at home with they families not at the office lmfao

We know UMG held emergency meetings Monday morning to figure out what tf happened and reign it all in, per TMZ

    Exactly.

    Not Like Us wasn’t “pushed”

    It organically blew up

THEN they put their marketing dollars into it

You’re right the timing wasn’t coincidence. It was a direct response to the FATD album Drake had dropped a few months prior where he was dissing a bunch of rappers/artists

As a huge Drake I think us Drake fans need to take a step back from our algorithms

We thought Drake section being more active mattered

We thought our TL praising Drake meant the tides were turning

We thought the love Kendrick was getting was fake because we didn’t see it on our curated algorithm

None of those things were real and my reality is crumbling as we speak

I agree it’s not about who won or lost, it’s about a real concern of censorship in music moving forward.

You're suggesting that the music video Drake himself made and released = the song being pushed? Do you understand what a song being "pushed" means? euphoria and meet the grahams all got radio airplay as soon as they dropped. Not Like Us got spammed on radio so quickly that even radio programmers were shocked at how much push was behind the song so suddenly. It has more playlist placements than any Kendrick or Drake song in history lmao. Like, just stop.

And no, even if Drake wins this lawsuit, it won't censor s***. That's why Drake never wanted his diss tracks to go up on DSPs to begin with. These diss tracks can live anywhere with a download link so fans can listen. It doesn't have to be released officially so no, niggas won't stop dissing each other because of this lawsuit and all 3 major mainstream rap battles we've had in the last 10 years have all involved Drake. I don't know why you're acting like it's mad niggas out here dissing each other.

And yes, calling someone a pedophile in ANY context, shouldn't be allowed, because that's not anything to joke about. Especially since we live in a time when people don't know the difference between what's just bars and what's real. The issue arose from people hearing what Kendrick said and attacking Drake's house because they legit believed he was a pedophile simply because Kendrick said so. Or people still insisting he's a pedophile despite zero proof of that and him denying it several times in multiple ways.

Kendrick fans take his words as truth. That's why they're still looking for Drake's non-existent 11 year-old daughter and that's why they're still harassing innocent women, insisting they were groomed and assaulted by Drake. This is way more than just rap beef and if you don't get that then that's okay but stop being disingenuous. Maybe you're waiting for a psychotic Kendrick fan to shoot Drake in defense of Kendrick calling him a pedophile for you to get how serious this s*** has gotten.

How are their tweets biased when they literally posted the documents Drake's lawyers filed? Are you dumb?

The "they're all out to get drake!" victim complex tweets from that account are objectively biased. Not my fault you're too stuck in the fandom to see it.
