1. This is a civil suit, not criminal. Standard of proof is on a balance of probabilities, not beyond a reasonable doubt

"Fama" basically = reputation, your good standing in the community. Defamation is the degradation of that. Drake has to prove that his reputation has actually suffered harm/loss due to the conduct of UMG
