This aint it. The biggest claim on this suit is not defamation, is the fact that UMG booted streams.

So when the time comes I guarantee UMG is going to do everything in their hands to avoid the feds looking at the numbers because they really booted the streams.

Yeah, maybe Drake gets shade too if they discover his past streams were booted too, but its clear he does not care about that, he already "lost in your eyes" so what else he got to lose?

Meanwhile admitting they booted the NLU streams would mean the song was not as popular as Drake claims. Which means a huge L for Kendrick for getting direct help from the label, it would automatically "re open the beef" or hand him the direct lost. It would also shake the music scene since a lot of artists relay on "public perception".

Let tha sink for a second. If the NLU was really booted, would the stand admit he lost? I dont think so, but it will be clear it was not a "natural win". And his image will be afected since he wont be treated as "real" anymore.
