This stems from pure jealousy
He’s not technically wrong, but it’s being framed as something that was done solely for Not Like Us when that’s not the case.
All labels pay for their artists’ work to be recognized and nominated at the Grammys. It’s called an award campaign. You have to pay to have your work submitted for recognition.
When Back to Back was nominated, it was paid for as well. Just like any other song or album that was ever nominated for a Grammy.

He was supposed to not talk about Kendrick’s family. He was supposed to keep it hip hop. He was supposed to honor the code of no women and children.

You don't ever live that down, regardless of how long a break you take because once you return, people will just continue calling you a pedophile.
