I think you’re misinterpreting the way fans are discussing this and feel about this.

Most people find drakes case to be quite shallow and a little ridiculous with no grounds to stand on. So it’s less about wanting UMG to win and more or less about the inconsistency’s in Drakes case and that it shouldn’t even be a thing. That does not mean people are rooting for UMG but rather just think it shouldn’t exist.
